Good evening all you fabulous people out there in the world of blogging! Just wanted to stop by and drop you a line before I turn in for the night. Tomorrow I move into my dorm room and while I am crazy nervous, I am also crazy stoked!I love meeting new people and making friends so I hope I will be able to do that sooner rather than later so I'm not too lonely up there!
It was really hard to leave home yesterday cause it had been so nice to be back spending time with my wonderful family. I got so used to sleeping in and being there for family dinners so i'm a bit sad now that is over. But I can still go home and visit and it's not like I'm out here forever!
I've had quite the lazy day organising what I am taking and watching tv, aswell as reading more about the fabulous world of Anne of Green Gables (I'm only slightly obsessed really). I spent the whole day in my incredibly comfy AE pink sweat pants. I think every girl should own a pair of pink sweat pants! (Seriously, I do.)
Well seen as how I'm very tired from my busy day (yeah right) and I have no idea what time I have to leave tomorrow I am going to leave you with these very wise words. I say this quote quite often and I do believe there to be a lot of truth in it. While it really has nothing to do with what I have been talking about (because this whole post has really been mindless ramblings) I still wish to share it in the hopes that it might have a bit of an influence on some of you, like it did me.
"Nothing is permanent in this wicked world. Not even our troubles."
-Charlie Chaplin
If any of you out there are worried about school, or work, or have some other sort of small issue, I believe that Mr. Chaplin is right. Things will get better and soon enough you will smile and laugh and dance. Every cloud has a silver lining!
Good night everyone!
All the best!
xxxx
