I can't really grasp the fact that this is the last day of 2010. This has really been an intense year for me. I wouldn't say it's been the best year of my life but it has been pretty spectacular. It's also had it's share of downfalls too. I've learned a lot about who I am and who I want to become, and I've also learned a lot about who my true friends are. It's been the year where I truly discovered how much of a passion I have for acting, it's the year I graduated high school, it's the year I went on the most amazing trip to Scotland, and it's the year I first lived away from home. I don't regret anything about this year though, not one bit! I try to live without regrets and I hope everyone out there does the same. You should never regret something that has ever made you smile.
New Years Resolutions:
1. Get good grades in school.
2. Lose 10 pounds
3. Die my hair and get it to a length I am actually happy with
4. Learn to save instead of spending as soon as I receive money
5. Keep up with the friendships I have in my life
6. Make more of an effort to meet people when I get back to school
7. Do something to help out the environment
8. Run more often
That's all I can think of so far. What are your New Years Resolutions??
Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2011 is good to you!!

My Favourite Places
Hello everyone! Well today I am in a sentimental mood and so I thought I would show pics of my favourite places. Some I have been to, and others I plan to go to. Either way I think these places are magical!
New York City! I went there when I was 16 on a class trip. A billboard for Phantom of the Opera in Times Square, which was an amazing show by the way! The Statue of Liberty, Strawberry Fields in Central Park. It's myself and my friend Sydney in that picture. And last is Times Square itself. Such a beautiful place!
Scotland! I went here the summer before I started University to visit family that lives there. Burns Cottage, The Brigadoon, Burns Monument, St. George's Square, Me at Dunure Castle, and a beautiful little seaside.
London! I haven't been here yet but the plan is to go one day very soon! I could see myself living here I love it so much. And I know people that live nearby so I wouldn't be alone.
Paris! I never wanted to go to Paris but then in hte past year or so it has become one of the places I would love to travel. Holly adores Paris so it's probably her influence that has rubbed off on me.
So there you go, these are my favourite places! I would also love to go to Ireland and Italy. I hope you all make it to your favourite places one day, just like I plan to make it to all of mine! :)

Who am I?
Hey peeps.
So I've been thinking a lot about who I am and I have desperately been trying to figure it out. So here's what I have so far.
I'm a student who doesn't exactly love what she studies but does it anyway with the intent to switch soon. I absolutely adore fashion and all things accessories, especially cute purses and clutches. I love to watch shows like Gossip Girl and Real Housewives of NYC because I dream of living a life in the big city. I love to gossip with my friends, yet at the same time I hate that about myself. I hate people who are rude to my family and I stand up to anyone who has anything bad to say about people I care about. I love watching soccer on weekend mornings with my Dad, even though I don't get to do that often. I often think I was born in the wrong era and that I belong in the glitz and glamour of the 1950's. I dream of seeing my name in lights and on the big screen. I imagine walking the red carpet at all of my fabulous movie premiers. At the same time I'm someone who adores Harry Potter to no end. Harry Potter is amazing and it has taught me to believe in magic. I hate Twilight and vampires but I adore wizards. I want to have my own PR company or be an event planner. I dream about the day I move to Scotland for a year and make trips to England, Ireland and of course Paris. I am probably the lamest 18 year old you will ever meet, but I'm okay with that. I love my eyes but I hate my eyebrows. I love my legs, but I hate my feet. I dream of the day I move to NYC and live at Heaven on 5th. I love who I am and the life I live with the people that are in it and I wouldn't change anything at all.
So that's what I have so far. I'm not at all ashamed of who I am but I am still trying to figure it out.
I'll let you know when I learn more!

And it's Official...I'm a Shopoholic...
Good Afternoon people! Well I hope everyone is having a great day, mine is going pretty decent. I spent pretty much the entire movie just laying in my bed on Facebook and creeping fashion blogs. I know, I live such an exciting life! Well after that I went shopping in town with my Mom. Yes shopping, even though I spent like 6 hours at a mall yesterday. I really don't know how to say no when it comes to fashion. I bought an under the bed shoe organiser because if I am going to be living in a tiny dorm room I need somewhere to keep them. Unfortunately it only fits 10 pairs so my evening will be spent attempting to figure out which ones to take. Or I might wait til I see Holly to do that because shoes are her area of expertise.
I also bought a little grey jacket with studs on the collar. I love studs. Seriously, love them. I now have two studded jackets and a few studded accessories. When we were shopping yesterday Holly bought this super cute studded grey jacket, which you can see in her blog, (HLD Fashion) it is super cute and only cost ten bucks! We're pretty good at finding bargains. So anyway, I was pretty darn jealous that she scooped that jacket up so when I found one that was similar enough for me to love but different enough for us not to look super matchy I caved in and bought it. Lets be honest it didn't take much convincing.
So tonight I'm thinking I'm just gonna chill out watching a movie and laying in bed wearing my pyjamas. I know I am super exciting. But I really don't mind just chilling out because in a week it will be back to school and I will be way too busy for my own good. Sadly :( I should probably begin packing in a day or two but I can't bring myself to do it. I feel like I just got home so I am really not ready to go back yet.
Well depending on how exciting my night gets I might be back in a bit to post some random ramblings!
With Love!

I will post a pic of my jacket in my next post, I'm just way too lazy right now :P

All shopped out....
Good evening world! I hope you all had as fabulous a day as I did! I spent the day shopping with Holly and my parents. Of course I spent way too much money but thats just a little detail. I have way too many clothes too fit in my closet at home, I don't even want to think what will happen when I get back to school and have to live in a tiny dorm room with a shoe box closet. Clothes are so important to me. I love dressing up and putting new outfits together. I love looking my best but I am also perfectly happy to spend the day in my sweat pants and hoody like I am right now. After an intense shopping outting I am extremely tired and already set for bed!
I love everything I bought today but I have added pictures of my two favourite purchases. My Steve Madden purse (love love love!!) and my Bettsyville by Betsy Johnston wallet/ make-up holder thingy.
Well I am off to spend the evening in cuddled up in my bed watching reruns of Gossip Girl and other trivial teenage shows.
Much Love!

Happy Boxing Day!
I love Christmas and I am so sad it's over, but I also love all the great deals that you can find in the days that follow Christmas. Today I just went into town with my Mom to find a few things. I got a new mascara, eyeliner, fleur de lei necklace, scarf, and bag. Tomorrow we're going shopping in a bigger town that's about an hour away. They have a pretty big mall and you are always guaranteed to find something there. Holly might come with us too which would be pretty sweet. I wouldn't mind having someone besides my parents to shop with.
So for Christmas I got many random things that will all come in very handy. I got a new straightener, tons of new make up, 4 new perfumes, a couple scarfs, a purse, and plenty of money which will be very helpful for tomorrow. I also got acopy of 'Our Town' by Thornton Wilder which is such an amazing little play I actually got to be in when I was 17. My parents have also ordered me a copy of the biography on Sal Mineo. I love Sal Mineo I think he was such a talented actor and that it was so unfortunate he died so young. I loved him in 'Rebel Without a Cause' in which he starred alongside James Dean who is my all time favourite actor ever.
Well I am off to organise my room. I've been in that type of mood lately where I know it's time for a change so I am sorting through everything! Hope everyone is having an amazing holiday like me!

Tis the season...
Happy Christmas Eve everybody! I've just gotten in from spending the evening at my Uncle's with the family. It was a pretty chill night I guess. I always love going there because he has the most beautiful house and my Aunt decorates it so lovely at Christmas time. That being said I'm glad I'm back home now to just spend some time chilling out on the couch watching Christmas specials. I also recorded an episode of Real Housewives of NYC earlier so I might even give that a watch.
Well I'm off to spend some time catching up with my family. I hope everyone has a fantastic Holiday Season and that Santa Claus is very kind to you all!

"Hollywood always wanted me to be pretty, but I fought for realism."
The above quote is one of my all time favourites, said by the fabulous Bette Davis. She is a huge idol of mine and I love every single movie of hers. That's one thing you will learn about me very quickly: I am a huge sucker for movies from the 1950's, and the fabulous stars who made them. I read about them, steal quotes from them, make collages of their pictures, I am completely obsessed.
I Dream of becoming a famous actress just like so many of my idols. I was always involved in plays at school, aswell as outside of it. It was my whole life at one point. Sadly I have been forced to join the real world and realise that my chances of making it in Hollywood aren't very good. But still, I can dream; which is something else I live for.
My ultimate goal in life: Move to New York City with my best friend Holly and live in a fabulous penthouse overlooking central park. I want to have a fantastic career and social life and for everything to just be completely perfect. This may seem highly unrealistic considering I come from a small town in Canada, but I have always dreamed big. I believe that I should shoot for the moon because even if I don't make it I will land amongst the stars.
