I caved...
2 things: First, I caved and got twitter a few days ago because my friend Victoria got it and wanted another follower. lol. she pretty much made my account for me, but now i am addicted.
And, I haven't had coffee in like a month but today I caved and got an ice capp. Which was probably a bad idea because there is like 6cm of snow on the ground and it is freezing. But, I was craving one and it is delicous. I just had a massive brain freeze though. Man I really hate those!!
Have you caved and done anything you said you wouldn't lately?
Have a great day!

Blonde vs. Brunette
Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a good start to the day!
As I may have mentioned before I am a big fan of the TV show Gossip Girl, although now I feel like it is getting a bit old. However, I have been a dedicated fan since day one! One of my favourite characters in the show is Blair, and in real life I am a big fan of Leighton Meester.
When I first heard that Leighton Meester was naturally a blonde I was a little shocked, and in a bit of disbelief. So I did what I always do in situations like this and went hunting for pictures to see how the two looks compared, and here is what I came up with.
While I do think that the actress looks pretty with both these haircolours I would say that brunette makes her look gorgeous. The blonde is nice but I feel like it makes her look a lot younger, whereas the brunette hair makes her look older and more mature.
Same story here. In my opinion the blonde hair makes her look young. I also feel it makes her look a little washed out. Brown hair goes better with her skintone.
That being said, Leighton is incredibly gorgeous and looks amazing pretty much always. Maybe I prefer brunette because I'm used to seeing it on Gossip Girl. Or maybe it's because I'm a brunette myself, who knows!
What do you guys thing? What look do you prefer on the actress?
Hope everyone has a great day! I don't have class until this evening so I have some major time to kill! Enjoy your day everyone!

My current Faves
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic monday! I had classes thi morning and then my Dad came up to the school so we could pay my fees and he bought me snacks! It was so good to see him, it had been too long! And I'm going home on the weekend I can't wait! It will be so nice to be able to sleep in my own bed and shower without shoes on!
So as a teenage girl, it is only natural that I change my mind about some things. Which I do. A lot. All the time. Constantly. So I thought I would create a post of my current favourites to share with you! Enjoy!
My current favourite drink is....
So Good Strawberry soy milk. OMG it is delicous! I had never really drank strawberry milk as a kid and I had never even had a strawberry milkshake til this past summer but this drink is so delicous! If you have never tried it, I highly recommend you do!
My current favourite snack food is...
Rosemary and Olive oil Triscuits. Being a full time student, you kind of have to live off of stuff like this when you are spending the day studying. These are really tasty though, they have so much flavour and you can eat them dry because they don't taste bland by themselves like the original.
My current favourite moisturizer is...
The Body Shop's Coconut shimmer body butter. My gosh this stuff smells so amazing sometimes I feel like I could eat it! And it works really well! I got it on sale for $10 so I don't know how much it is originally but it is wicked!
My current favourite movie is...
Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging. I'm actually watching this right now! I first saw this when I was in Scotland in the summer. I read all the books when I was younger, and while the movie is not as good as the books it is definately worth a few laughs. It's the perfect cheezy teengage romantic comedy. Heavy on the cheezy. But I still enjoy watching this!
My current favourite song is...
Famous by Scouting for Girls. This is a british band and Famous is one of their new songs. It has such a catchy tune and is so much fun to listen to! I suggest you look it up on youtube or download it!
My current favourite artist is...
Pixie Lott. Once again, she is a British artist and she has such a pretty voice. She's done a lot of covers and one of my favourites is her cover of One Republics Apologise. She also did a duet with Jason DeRulo called Coming Home. She's pretty talented and I wouldn't be surprised if she becomes a lot more popular over here in North America.
There you go! My current favourites! What are your current favourites? I'm killing time right now until my friend Victoria gets out of class. Because she has such a late class we are having a late dinner. I'm starting to get hungry though so I can't wait for 8:30 to come around!
Have a great night all!
With love!

Wishlist
Hello everyone! Happy Sunday to you all!!
So before I begin my homework, I decided to make a wishlist. There is so much stuff that I want (mostly stuff I can't afford) but these are the main things that I DESPERATELY want.
Hope you enjoy :)
1. I really want a fun party girl dress. Soo badly! I love glitter and I love sparkle and I love the design of this one!
2. I'm a huge fan of all the blazers we are seeing right now. I've been looking for one for quite sometime but I can't find the right one!
3. Same with this, I have been searching for a black highwaisted skirt for months and just can't find one that I really really really like! But I do really really really want one!!
4. A Louis Vuitton clutch I would very much enjoy having. A pink one especially but honestly, I would take one in any colour! I think they are so fun and cute and they really add something to an outfit.
5. A Tiffany&Co. Necklace. I love Tiffanys. I went there when I was in New York two years ago and I got the classic heart pendant necklace. I love that necklace dearly but I certainly wouldn't mind having another! I love this one because I'm a big fan of necklaces that are long or have a lot on them. I like how it has the three different strands, I think it is really pretty.
6. A Chanel purse. The classic black quilted Chanel purse with the white C's. I have been eyeing this purse up for years and honestly, I will never not want one. It is one of my goals in life to get one. I just think they are so beautiful and classic. I'd feel like a park avenue princess carrying one.
Well there you have it! These are the main things on my list, I assure you there are more! Hope you enjoyed! What's on your wishlist?
Have a great Sunday everyone! I am off to do some homework! Finally!
Much Love!

These are a few of my favourite things...
Good evening all!
So today I had a lot of time on my hands (I was putting off studying) so I started organising through my stuff and then I started looking at stuff and came up with a list of things that I love and I decided to share it with you!
Well I hope everyone is having a more exciting night than I am! It is Saturday after all, but I probably should do some homework or something.
Goodnight everyone!

So today I had a lot of time on my hands (I was putting off studying) so I started organising through my stuff and then I started looking at stuff and came up with a list of things that I love and I decided to share it with you!
My Steve Madden purse. Oh I love this to no end. I use it everyday, it's one of the best thing's I have ever purchased!
My Strawberry margarita nail polish by O.P.I. This colour is so pretty.
I love this image so much I think it is adorable! My school had a poster sale the other day and I bought this there, along with a few others!
Sex and the City. Holly is responsible for getting my hooked on this show, it's all because of her! Of course now I can't stop watching it! In fact, as I am posting this Holly and I are texting and quoting lines that Miranda said throughout the show and the movies to one another.
My James Dean book, my notebook, (I write everything down!) my magnifying glass necklace, (got it in Scotland) my pictures are so important to me I have so many on my walls (this one is of me and my Dad one year at Christmas), Breakfast at Tiffany's, (love Audrey Hepburn!!) my Sal Mineo book, my union jack jewellery box (to keep in touch with my british roots), and my teddy bear I got when I finished at my dance school. His name is Brian :)
Oh how I love me some Harry Potter! I am one of the girliest girls you will likey meet, but I am also a huge nerd it is ridiculous. Harry Potter is one of the greatest things ever.
So these are just a sample of my favourite things, I assure you I have many more! So like I said today I really did nothing, so I am feeling quite bored by this point. I had dinner at the dining hall with some friends but they have all gone back to their rooms to study. I suppose I should be doing the same thing...
This is what I wore today, I opted for a comfy choice. Pink American Eagle sweatpants, grey Nike t-shirt that I got from JJ Bean in Scotland, and green Abercrombie hoody that I got in New York! Very comfy and very colourful! That's how I role! Well I hope everyone is having a more exciting night than I am! It is Saturday after all, but I probably should do some homework or something.
Goodnight everyone!

Oh Canada
Hello all! I hope you all had a fantastic week and are gearing up for an even better weekend! Me, I have been busy with school, school, and more school!
So as you all know by now I love the movies, so I decided to put together a list of my top 10 favourite Canadian actors/actresses. This is all just my opinion so you might completely disagree! I'm fine with that don't worry! If you have something to say or add just drop a comment :)
The movie I mention that features the star is my favourite out of what they have been in. Enjoy :)
1. Michael J. Fox, born in Edmonton, Alberta. Back to the Future is one of the greatest movies ever! I wasn't too crazy about all the sequels they made but the original is definately a masterpiece. Michael is really really talented.
2. Jason Priestly, born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Star of Beverly Hills, 90210. That show was like the original teen soap opera, and even though it was a little before my time, I love it. And he has such pretty eyes.
3. Rachel McAdams, born in London Ontario. The Notebook, who doesn't love that movie? She is so talented and gorgeous.
4. Ryan Reynolds, born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Look at that body! What a hottie! He is so talented and very funny. The Proposal had me constantly laughing. I thought he did a great job.
5. Neve Campbell, born in Guelph, Ontario. Scream is like my favourite horror movie ever! I love all the sequels as well, and can't wait for the 4th one to come out!
6. Rick Moranis, born in Toronto, Ontario. Such a funny guy! Who doesn't like Honey I Shrunk the Kids, that is a classic from my childhood!
7. Hayden Christensen, born in Vancouver British Columbia. So cute! I loved him in Life as a House, I thought he played his part really well and he was convincing.
8. Michael Cera, born in Brampton, Ontario. He is hilarious! Plays the role of the awkward teenager so well, but I do hope that he starts to branch out more because he is beginning to get labelled as just that. Arrested Development is filled with so many laughs. Love it.
9. Megan Follows, born in Toronto, Ontario. Star of Anne of Green Gables. I think I have made it clear that that trilogy is one of my all time favourites. She is so talented.
10. Jonathan Crombie, born in Toronto, Ontario. Played Gilbert Blythe in Anne of Green Gables and I loved him! I think he is really talented and a very real person.
So thats my list! Hope you enjoyed! Have a great night everyone!

Top 10 Movies
Hey peeps! So you might have noticed (if you've been reading my blog that is) that I tend to ramble about actors or about my favourite movies. Because of this I have decided to create a post for you in which I share with you my top favourite movies and why I love them so much. Don't be surprised if in the future I do one on my favourite stars aswell! So just remember this is completely based on my opinion and you can agree or disagree or whatever you like! If you have something to say feel free to comment :)
Ok, here it goes!
1. Rebel Without a Cause: So the first thing I love about this movie is that it stars two of my all time favourites- Sal Mineo and James Dean. These two work so well together, the chemistry really jumps off the screen. It was the first movie to ever really have an openly gay character (this point is never mentioned in the movie but I read it in Sal: A biography); played by Sal Mineo. All three leads Sal, James, and Natalie Wood work so well together that it is quite easy to tell they got along in real life which is probably a factor that helped their performance. I wish it would have been possible for them to do more work together. I also love the fact that this movie talked about the issue of teenagers expressing themselves and the trials they go through in life because at the time it was made that was not the type of thing that got put into a movie. It was a risky project but it turned out so well. This movie makes me laugh, cry, and it makes me angry. In my opinion it is perfect.
2. Breakfast at Tiffany's: Just like the character played by the fabulous Audrey Hepburn, I am crazy about Tiffany's! This movie is magic. True magic. I love nothing more than curling up in a blanket with my tea on a cold sunday afternoon and watching this movie from start to finish. The story is a very entertaining one and the characters all work so well together. I love Mickey Rooney in the part of Holly's landlord. Such an amazing performance! This movie is made in my favourite era in my favourite city! How could I not love it? I've seen this movie probably a hundred times and there is no doubt I will watch it a hundred more!
3. Harry Potter: I'm including the entire series in this but the 5th one is probably my favourite. So far anyway! Still got to wait for The Deathly Hallows part 2!! I have been a devoted Harry Potter fan since my Dad read me the first book when I was a child. The movies are amazing and I'm not gonna lie, I was crying within five minutes when I went to see the last one in theatres. When I was a child I dreamed that there were such things as magic and wizards and so for me, Harry Potter is like still being able to continue that aspect of my childhood dreaming. (Even though yes, I know it's not actually real! LOL.) I will never grow tired of these movies. I love the three title characters, and Malfoy is also a favourite of mine. Tom Felton is a total hottie! Daniel Radcliffe actually looks quite a bit similar to my oldest brother, so that's something else I love!
4. Newsies: It's a musical, it's Disney, it takes place in New York City, and it stars a very hot eighteen year old Christian Bale. When it first opened Newsies was a flop, and it was only about six months ago that I first saw it when I watched it on Youtube. I instantly fell in love with the characters and the story line. I called my Dad and got him to order it for me online and when it firt came in I must have watched it 5 times in about 2 days. It's such a fun movie.
5. Anne of Green Gables: I love the whole series. I love that it's Canadian (because I am too!) and I just think it's so sweet and so fun. Megan Follows does such an incredible job playing the part of Anne. I couldn't imagine it being played any other way! I fell in love with all the characters, I just think they worked so well together and they really made the timeless classic novel come alive.
6. East of Eden: Another amazing James Dean movie. This was his first starring role and when I watch this movie, I can't tear my eyes away from him. It is actually nearly impossible for me. His performance is magic and alongside Julie Harris they really made this a movie to never forget.
7. James Dean: A movie about the short but amazing life of James Dean, starring another favourite of mine, James Franco. Franco plays the part of Dean amazingly well and he really opened me eyes to some aspects of Dean that I never realised or never really noticed. The movie makes me bawl me eyes out everytime I watch it. It's not very easy to find but if you are a fan of either James Dean or James Franco then I suggest you look this movie up and give it a watch.
8. 127 Hours: Starring James Franco. I won't lie to you, I haven't seen this movie yet, but, just by watching previews I can tell it will be amazing. It's based on a true story and this is just the kind of thing I had been hoping James Franco would attempt. The people who I know who have seen it rave about it and so I can't wait to see it myself.
9. Little Women: There are many versions of this movie and I like most of them to be honest. What makes me love this one more is the fact that it stars Christian Bale. I think he plays the part of Teddy Lawrence, a bit arrogant, but brilliantly. I love Susan Sarandon as Marmee and Claire Danes does wonderfully in the role of Beth.
10. Chocolat: Johnny Depp is a god. I love the role of the gypsy that he plays in this movie. I love the whole story of the woman who is not afraid to go against the rules of her community to do what she loves and believes in. I think it is very well done. Plus, I love chocolate so that a bonus!
Well there you are. Some of my favourite movies! I hope you guys agree with some of my choices, but if you don't we all have different opinions anyway!
What are your favourite movies?
Have a great day everyone!

Hey guys I'm back! Can you tell I had a lot of time on my hands today? So this post is all about style icons. Now this is in my personal opinion so don't feel like you have to agree, these are just some people who I admire because I always feel they look so well dressed.
1. I've never been a crazy huge fan of The City but one thing I do love is Olivia and her amazing style I just think she always looks so put together. I love the belted cardigan around the dress in this first image (I tried it myself once but didn't find it so flattering with my figure. looks much better on her)
2. I love her hair this colour(I think it was blonde in the first season?) I just think it looks very flattering to her skin tone. I love that she is wearing stripes because I wear them myself all the time and they are very flattering to her. I love how her outfitts are so gorgeous and classy yet give off a vibe of simplicity at the ssame time. She looks amazing and definately knows the meaning of style.
3. I was so happy when Kate Middleton and Prince William got engaged. I think she is gorgeous and I love love love her style! I've noticed she wears a lot of hats which I think is amazing. A lot of people shy away from hats but she definately shows no fear when you see her in some of those extravagant ones.
4. I adore this outfit to no end. The tartan skirt is gorgeous and the style very flattering on her. I love that she has chosen all black to go with it, but then by adding a brown bag can also make it pop.
5. I don't know how many of you have ever seen the show Living on the Edge but it is one of my top faves. It's like The Hills or The City but takes place in Aldery Edge in England. This is Esme and in the first season she was one of the title characters. I love her style (although I couldn't find many pictures to show you!) and I double love her hair. If you've seen the show you know what I'm talking about. That hair can do anything and it is so gorgeous! This dress is what she wears in the opeing credits and I would not mind having one for myself! I love the black with the touch of pink.
6. Who doesn't love Victoria Beckham? She has amazing style and I envy her to no end. She looks so gorgeous in this all pink outfit. If I tried that I would look like a stick of cotton candy or a bottle of pepto bismal but she makes it work wonderfully! I also love the edgy hairstyle. I would never be brave enough to attempt something that bold.
Well that's it for now! I hope you all have a great night!
