Hey guys! So here it is, a new post as promised! So the other day when I got back to campus after reading break I looked in my mirror and realised that I am not crazy about my body. I know I'm not fat but I am a little chubby and it just suddenly hit me that I want to do something about it. So I am starting a detox. Not one of those crazy ones where you only drink the water with the herbs, just one where you cut out a lot of sugar and uneeded (is that a word??) waste from your diet. I will be staying away from potatoes, dairy, sugar, and all kinds of junk food that is not helping my body at all. I am really trying to eat better cause obviously I want to take care of my body. It is hard because I live on campus and have to eat cafeteria food everyday which isn't exactly the best for you...It is also difficult to get a lot of exercise time at school and because of a knee injury from when I was younger I can't run very well and it also effects other forms of exercise. So for right now crunches push ups and walking are my only options. Does anyone have any advice or tips for me? It's all appreciated!
Thanks for listening to my mini rant today!
Have a great day anyone! xxx
last year i kept a food journal. it really kept me accountable for what i put into my mouth. i didn't have cookies because i didn't want to write that in my journal & have it spoil all my healthy eats. plus, it allowed me to see what kind of things i snacked on most (sugary things).
ReplyDeletealso, swimming is a great full body work out if you can access a pool! youtube has some really good fitness work outs too, and pilates and yoga are pretty knee friendly!
ps. i had an overload on cookies today. so i'm starting a no sugar thing RIGHT THIS SECOND :P
